The Students' Union at LTH (TLTH) is the student union for all the students at LTH. The most important task of TLTH is to monitor the education maintaining and improving the quality of the education. Apart from this, TLTH organizes career events and leisure activities to make sure the students can make the most out of their time at LTH.
Most of the activities at LTH are organized by the Guilds, which are dependent on TLTH.

A membership in TLTH is necessary to participate in events organized by any of the Guilds or TLTH. Become a memeber here. Once you’ve paid the membership fee your membership will be valid for the entirety of your studies at LTH. The TLTH membership is called Mecenat and works as your student-ID. Besides allowing you to attend events hosted by TLTH or one of the Guilds, the membership also offers you a lot of great deals. It is recommended to download the Mecenat-app on your phone to view your Mecenat-card digitally, but you can also request a physical card if you prefer. And if you have any troubles, your mentors are more than happy to help!

Hey everyone!
My name is Aron Allen, and I'm the president of the students' union at the Faculty of Engineering at Lund University (TLTH). Normally, I also study at LTH, but this year I have taken a study break to focus on the Student Union and the students at LTH.
Autumn in Lund is still some way off, but life on campus is in full swing. Student life is, in many ways, fantastic and unique in the opportunities it offers. To make your time as a student and your student life as good as possible, there are student unions that organize students and represent their interests — and your student union is the TLTH!
The TLTH, together with our 11 guilds, works for the benefit of all students at LTH. Among other things, we ensure that the quality of education is constantly improving. We help you connect with future employers, for example through the career fair ARKAD. All of this is tied together with all the social activities, whether it’s being able to buy cheap coffee on campus, attending formal dinners, programming, doing sports, organizing spectacular events, or taking part in our amazing introduction weeks you’re now experiencing. Take the opportunity to enjoy the world’s best student life and make the most of the chance to get involved no matter where or how much!

How incredibly exciting that you’ve made it to Lund and LTH - congratulations from all of us at Teknologkåren, the student union at LTH!
We are the sabbatical officers of the Student Union – 8 students who have taken a year off from our studies to
work full-time with everything related to your time as a student at LTH. We each have different responsibilities, ranging from student politics and education monitoring to finances, leisure activities, and corporate relations.
We’re here to make your time at LTH as educational and fun as possible!
Life as a Full-timer is very diverse. We work closely with LTH,
coordinate the guilds, and organize events on behalf of Teknologkåren. We also
get the chance to represent Teknologkåren at countless events within Lund’s
student life. You’ll even spot us at some of the introduction events running
around in our grey overalls. Feel free to come say hi!
On weekdays, you’ll find us at our office in Kårhuset. You’ll also find
Camilla there – the Union’s administrator – who can help you with everything from bookings to
lost things.

The Head of Introduction Week (“Nollegeneralen”) is the chair of the NollU committee and is responsible for coordinating the divisions’ introduction weeks at an overall level. This is done, among other things, through the Øverphøskollegiet, which the Nollegeneral convenes and leads. The Nollegeneral is ultimately responsible for NollU’s contact with external parties such as LTH, its study guidance services, and the media, as well as for ensuring that all introduction week staff, both within the central TLTH and its divisions, receive appropriate training ahead of the introduction period.

We are the Introduction Committee at the Student Union (Teknologkåren) — consisting of the Chief of Introduction, Head of Introduction and several Introduction Officers. But what exactly is this committee? Well! We’re regular LTH students who have spent the spring and summer working to welcome you with some amazing events where you and your guild will compete in various challenges against other guilds — everything from soapbox car races to water fights. Just as important, if not more so, is the opportunity to get to know more students, now also from other guilds.
To say we’re excited to meet you would be an understatement — we can’t wait to see all the amazing and wonderful things you’ll accomplish. Hope to see you there!

There are 11 Guilds at LTH (including the PHD students' Guild) which are subordinate TLTH. You are a member of the Guild including the program or courses you take. Every Guild organizes their own activities, but they also work together to organize larger events. The Guild activities offer many opportunities.
